The makers of Froddo shoes have been producing shoes since 1946. They were established as a small business made up of a group of shoemakers. Through mutual assistance, updating their knowledge and hard work, they have become a company with over 600 employees – today a leading footwear manufacturer in Croatia. The company might have grown in size, but the spirit of initial enthusiasm and solidarity has remained the same.
FRODDO shoes are made exclusively from natural aniline leather and anatomically designed to ensure the right amount of support and comfort. The shoe’s design was developed in consultation with orthopedic surgeons and paying close attention to the insole, midsole and outsole. Combining a modern design and a 77-year-old tradition, Froddo shoes are innovative, high quality, and functional, produced ecologically from natural materials, and are a healthy product supporting your child’s growing foot development.
Every Froddo shoe is produced in an environmentally friendly way without any harmful substances, heavy metals and compounds such as Chromium (VI). We produce shoes that care about the environment, as well as the health of children.

Our partners and suppliers are selected with great care and possess recognized certifications, such as the Leather Working Group. Furthermore, we implement ISO quality management systems in our business operations, holding certifications such as ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety management.
The Froddo collection offers a wide range of sizes from 17 to 42 and various widths from S to L, ensuring a perfect fit. Whether your child is taking their first steps, attending daycare or school, engaging in sports activities, or dressing up for special occasions, Froddo has the perfect shoe for every occasion. Our shoes are known for their sustainability, functionality, flexibility, practicality, and comfort. Most models feature a lining and insole made of chrome-free natural leather. Closed shoe models come with an antibacterial removable insole made of chrome-free natural leather or microfiber, which includes a size verification label. The removable insole is GRS certified, with its bottom part made of 86% recycled material.
